About the Role
MSGP is a key player in municipal and waste management services, managing essential urban infrastructure. They are looking for an HR Manager to spearhead people operations for their Bengaluru workforce. This role bridges corporate HR strategy with frontline operational reality, overseeing field collection crews, transport operators, and compost processing plant staff. What you’ll do * Manage end-to-end recruitment for field, plant, and admin roles across various operational zones.
Oversee attendance, shift scheduling, and payroll inputs for a frontline workforce of over 100 employees.
Ensure strict compliance with Karnataka labor laws, ESI/PF regulations, and GBA/BBMP contractor norms.
Coordinate vital safety training, PPE distribution, and occupational health programs.
Handle employee grievances, disciplinary proceedings, and maintain precise HR documentation.
Liaison directly with BBMP officials and contract labor agencies for seamless workforce planning.
Drive onboarding initiatives, performance appraisal cycles, and retention strategies.
Requirements
Core: MBA or PG Diploma in HR (or equivalent);
2+ years of HR experience; strong, actionable knowledge of Karnataka labor regulations;
proficiency in HRMS tools and MS Office;
fluency in Kannada and English.
Nice to have: Direct HR experience within waste management, municipal services, or logistics sectors.
