About the Role
ECONSH Alternatives is a Bengaluru-based startup creating sustainable agri-waste products. This role focuses on driving the funding application process for grants, awards, and hackathons.
What you'll do
- Identify and research funding opportunities across grants, awards, hackathons, government programs, VC/accelerator funding, and CSR initiatives.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of opportunities with deadlines and eligibility criteria.
- Interpret guidelines, eligibility terms, and submission requirements for applications.
- Conduct follow-up calls with funding agencies and program teams during working hours.
- Perform desktop research to gather supporting data and validate claims for applications.
- Improve application decks for clarity, structure, and narrative strength.
- Explore and implement AI tools to streamline sourcing and application processes.
- Ensure applications meet quality standards with no gaps or errors.
This is a hands-on opportunity to gain deep exposure to the funding ecosystem while contributing to a sustainability-driven business.
Requirements
Core
Strong communication skills for calls with funding agencies.
Interest in startups, sustainability, and funding ecosystems.
Proactive and organized, with excellent desktop research skills.
High attention to detail and strong written/verbal English.
Proficiency in creating polished presentation decks (PPT).
Nice to have
Experience with AI tools for research and automation.
Understanding of investment terms and funding processes.
